Top 10 Questions and Answers for the BOM
Will the BOM scratch my car?
No. The BOM is formulated to encapsulate the dirt particles that are lifted away by the damp cloth. Just be sure to rinse the damp cloth often in clean water. The BOM will not remove existing swirl marks.
How do I clean my windows and mirrors?
Using a damp, lint free cloth, spray the BOM onto the cloth. Wipe over a small area and immediately buff the glass or mirror with a dry, lint free cloth. The BOM is ideal for after market tinted car windows. It will not cloud or fog the tint film.
Can I use the BOM in direct sunlight?
The BOM is not recommended for use in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces including windows, cars, or stainless steel. However, if you use it in direct sunlight the product will evaporate too quickly and a haze will form. All you have to do is buff out the haze. A little more elbow grease. Always apply in a small area and buff immediately. Do not apply in temperatures below 40°.
Can I clean my car seats with the BOM?
The BOM is ideal for leather car seats. Do not use on cloth interiors. Spray the BOM on a damp cloth, wipe over a small area, and buff with a clean, dry cloth. When applying to leather, always try it first in an inconspicuous area to be sure you are satisfied with the results. Do not apply to suede or other not sealed leather.
Can I use the BOM on my stainless steel appliances?
The BOM leaves stainless steel sparkling clean. Apply as you would to windows.
Do I have to wash my car before I use the BOM?
You can use The BOM to directly clean off bugs, bird droppings, tar and even light mud or surface dirt. If a person has driven the vehicle through a mud hole or gone back road driving then yes they should wash the vehicle first.
Other than for my car, where can I use the BOM?
The BOM is excellent on stainless steel, computer screens, mirrors, glass, knick-knacks, appliances, etc. Do not use the BOM in areas that people walk on or where there is water present. This includes floors; bathtubs, swimming pools, or boat decks.
Can I use the BOM on my motorcycle including the windshield?
The BOM can be used everywhere on a motorcycle including the windshield, gas tank, wheels, and chrome.
How do I use the clothes?
A synthetic cloth along with a microfiber cloth come with the kit. It is important that the clothes that are used are lint free and absorbent. One cloth should be used damp and rinsed often. The second cloth should be used dry at all times. When using clothes other than the ones that came with the kit, be sure that the cloth is lint free and absorbent. Microfiber clothes are recommended.
Can I dilute the BOM?
The BOM is ready to use. Do not dilute with water.
